The Montana blogosphere can’t seem to reconcile Rep. Denny Rehberg’s anti-CHIP screed in which he described our private health care insurance system “reliable” and “affordable,” with his later for to override President Bush’s veto of the SCHIP bill sent to his desk. I was having a hard time too until I came across an explanation from Rep. Rehberg himself:
“SCHIP was almost the exact same program on a ballot that 68 percent of Montanans voted in favor of.”
Now that political expediency is apparently dictating the flips and flops in the office of our sole representative, I imagine Denny will be breaking rank with the “fabulous individual” he’s so dedicatedly served for years.

Hmm… I seem to have blown up my tag cloud with this post. Off to trial and error experimentation with style sheets.
