Nevermind the war, or the economy, or elections… You name it. Jay Stevens is apparently threat numero uno if you’re a winger in Montana.
Over at BS Cairn they’ve decided they can’t beat Left in the West’s Jay Stevens on the issues, so they’re going to resort to GOP 101 and try to tear him down personally. Well over 50 percent of their posts in the last few days have resorted to calling Jay a liar and whatnot. Jay’s gracefully kept above the fray (not me, I’m shameless), but I have a feeling there’ll more of this to come from the shallow end of the Montana blogosphere during this election season. They already tried to do it to Matt Singer. When that doesn’t work, they make wild accusations or threaten to sue. It’s gonna be a fun year!

Threaten to sue? Why ‘the right’ would never do that. They lay many of society’s ills at the feet of frivolous lawsuits and trial lawyers. You’d best take back that accusation …
or they might sue you.
