Now this is hilarious! Rep. Rehberg apparently listed a $300 “lodging” expenditure on his last finance report at a notorious DC dive bar called the Tune Inn. Despite its name, the joint doesn’t offer any lodging–save for a cot in the basement where people occasionally “sleep one off.” While Rep. Rehberg’s office simply claims a clerical error, one can’t be quite sure. Aren’t we talking about the same person who re-enacted a rib-cracking PRCA bronc riding scene for his Kazakh hosts after a few shots of the local tooth degreaser in 2004?
