Just as I finished hitting the publish button on the entry below regarding Roy Brown’s dishonest attacks on Gov. Schweitzer, an email arrived from Rep. Rehberg’s Congressional office furthering the dubious claims.
Now we all know Denny’s no stranger to using tax dollars for partisan purposes–paying Erik Iverson $160k per year to chair the state party and making liberal use of his franking privelege when elections season rolls around–but sending out dishonest hit pieces from his federal office is taking this practice to a new brazen pinnacle.
I’m sure Rehberg’s office will make some claim about him just doing his job, but his actions don’t pass the sniff test considering the last official House action on the act was 10 months ago. I’d think that a guy who’s voted against recovery time for our troops after long tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, higher pay for soldiers, and better health care for our veterans would have more to do than peddle Roy Brown’s lies and Swiftboat a man who honorably served for 23 years… But what do I know?

So where do the voting records come from? All of these unsited ‘facts’ are kind of hard to swallow.
