It appears that the GOP is already push polling in the MT Senate race. I can’t imagine who would pay for such a thing since the this race is pretty much the dictionary definition of a slam dunk. Just about any Democrat would welcome GOP groups throwing their money away in trying to increase negatives on such a known quantity as Sen. Baucus. Jhwygirl has a little more info over at 4 & 20. All in all, it isn’t much of a big deal that some mysterious GOP group is paying a call center in India to annoy Montana voters, but it’s indicative of how early they’re resorting to shady tactics in a cycle that’s likely to further the beating they’ve been taking in the last few years.
