It’s no secret that Gov. Schweitzer is a huge gun advocate. Still, this has to hurt. As a Dem, an endorsement from the NRA is about as likely as Jim Hunt getting an endorsement from NRCC. Nevertheless, the Governor earned this one by “sticking to his guns” and not just picking up a rifle for campaign commercials. In fact, if my memory doesn’t fail me, I think the last time I personally shot a gun was when the Gov. Schweitzer was giving a group of campaign volunteers a shooting lesson.
Between this news and last week’s Mason Dixon poll, Roy Brown must be wondering what he’s doing in the race.

Hey this is cool! The NRA has recognized Gov. Schweitzer for his outspoken support of our Constitutional right to own and bear guns and for hunting and fishing access.

Good for the Gov. I’m surprised with all the time he spends in California they didn’t convince him to outlaw guns. I don’t foresee Roy Brown as a threat to our gun rights, either.
