Despite my support for Barack Obama in the primary, I’ve got to give credit where it’s due, and Bill Clinton’s visit to the Mo Club Saturday night is very deserving. Clinton’s one of the few pols who you believe is really enjoying their Mo Burger and beer. My sister lucked out and snapped a picture with him, and even got one of the Red Apple shots he bought for the bar. The former President clearly knows how to make friends in Missoula.

What were those shots like? From the description of the ingredients, they sound disgusting. Or maybe I’m just old and prefer my alcohol neat.

I’ve had ‘em bought for me before. Basically taste like apple candy with a little bit of a kick from the whiskey. When people buy rounds at Charlie’s, the bartenders seem to suggest it pretty frequently.
