It’s great to see the Montana GOP build their state convention around a candidate that ran an insurgent campaign against nearly everything they stand for… But now that Mitt’s gone and McCain can’t even rouse the dead-enders who still support President Bush, they’ve got to let someone step in to pull a few people into their convention in Missoula. While many of these Ron Paul supporters were made to be felt unwelcome during the rigged caucuses held in February, they’re apparently being welcomed with open arms now that the state party is on life support.

It’s also apparent that their desperation only goes so far, as they’re also denying their U.S. Senate nominee a speaking slot during the event. So they’ve got a loser delivering their keynote, and their party’s winner sitting next door at the kid’s table. Iverson’s really earning that $160,000 we’re sending him every year isn’t he?
